BIOGRAPHY
Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares, was born on 26th July 1989 in the Portuguese State of Guanare City. Her mother, Mary Bridget Colmenares, a housewife, was of a Spanish Nationality. Her Father, Juan Maria Sarcos, was born in Yaracuy and was a professional trader. Ivian, who was the youngest of 13 children, was nicknamed Lunasol by her mother. Her 12 siblings are: Manuel, Antonio Anastasio, Oscar Maria, Yimi Ricardo, Zair, My Juan Ami, IdinJuanmi, Lille, Nancy, Milagros, Elizabeth, MilviayIvinMisari Mary.

Ivian was made an orphan at the age of eight years old resulting in her moving to a convent run by the ‘Sacred Heart of Jesus’ Congregation of Sisters in the city of San Carlos, Cojedes state. Her stay at the boarding school made her into a responsible young woman. Being a model student with values built up in the faith of God she considered everyone around her in the convent as family. Due to Ivian’s excellent performance in academic areas, social and religious, and with one year to go before the completion of high school, the Mother Superior proposed that Ivian go to Spain to prepare to become a nun. However, this idea didn’t appeal to Ivian and at the age of 15 she began an academic career (Business Administration) at the Graduate Institute of Agricultural Technology IUTEAGRO whilst working to fund her education. Ivian is still in regular contact with the Nuns and often sends them gifts.

In 2006 Ivian decided to relocate to the Valles del Tuy, Miranda State where she moved in with one of her sisters. Being the feisty, enterprising and independent woman that she is, Ivian began to do maintenance work in order to pay for her expenses. It was in 2007 that she awoke one day with her sights set on the capital. With very little money, Ivian travelled to the capital in search of a new career. She began working in Caracas, commuting daily from the Valles del Tuy. In 2008, she was accepted into the Universidad Central de Venezuela UCV to study International Studies and moved to Parroquia El Valle in the capital.
